Job Description

A leader in the food and beverage industry is hiring a Lead UX Designer in Greater Boston, MA for a 4-6 month contract position, hybrid. Lead UX Designer Perks:

• Pay rate starting at $50/hr depending on experience.
• Hybrid schedule with limited travel to the corporate office.
• Lead UX strategy for a major web replatform.
• Partner with UX, engineering, product, and marketing leaders.
• Mentor and coach a team of designers.

Lead UX Designer Requirements:

• 8+ years of UX design experience across web, mobile, and e-commerce.
• Experience supporting a major platform migration or rapid iterative testing.
• Hands on experience with A/B testing platforms and funnel and behavioral analytics.
• Expertise in at least two design practice areas, plus experience mentoring designers.
• Portfolio showing UX strategy and measurable conversion impact on high traffic, transactional web experiences.

Lead UX Designer Responsibilities:

• Own the conversion optimization roadmap across the online ordering funnel.
• Design and run A/B and multivariate tests to measure impact on conversion and average order value.
• Lead design concepts from low fidelity flows to production ready designs.
• Conduct user research and analyze behavioral data to identify friction points and prioritize work.
• Build the measurement framework and reporting cadence, and contribute to the design system.
