Painter / Drywall Finisher

NOW HIRING EXPERIENCED PAINTER / DRYWALL FINISHER

We are seeking an experienced Painter / Drywall Finisher to join our growing construction team serving Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware.

We are looking for a skilled tradesperson who is experienced in professional painting, drywall finishing, surface preparation, repairs, and final finishing . The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, works efficiently, and can complete projects with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Painting:

• Prepare walls, ceilings, trim, doors, and other surfaces for painting
• Patch, sand, caulk, and repair surfaces before painting
• Apply primer, paint, and coatings using brushes and rollers
• Cut in around ceilings, trim, doors, windows, and other surfaces
• Perform touch-ups and correct imperfections
• Protect floors, fixtures, and finished surfaces
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Drywall Finishing:

• Tape drywall seams, joints, and corners
• Apply joint compound/mud and multiple finishing coats
• Perform taping, bedding, feathering, and finishing
• Sand drywall to achieve smooth, professional surfaces
• Apply skim coats when needed
• Repair holes, cracks, dents, and other imperfections
• Correct uneven seams and surface irregularities
• Prepare walls and ceilings for primer and paint

Qualifications

• Previous professional painting experience
• Previous drywall finishing/taping experience
• Strong knowledge of surface preparation and finishing techniques
• Experience with patching, sanding, caulking, mudding, and skim coating
• Ability to produce clean, smooth, paint-ready finishes
• Experience using brushes and rollers; spray painting is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation
• Dependable and punctual
• Ability to travel to job sites throughout PA, NJ, and DE

This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone who can confidently perform painting and drywall finishing work and deliver professional results.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, reach, and work overhead for extended periods
• Ability to climb ladders and work in various construction environments
• Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements
• Ability to lift and move materials and equipment safely
