Role: Medical Assistant
Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time, W-2.
We’re seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA. This position plays a key role in delivering high-quality patient care, supporting clinical operations, and maintaining a clean, safe, and professional environment. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong punctuality, takes pride in maintaining a well-organized workspace, and delivers compassionate care with professionalism and integrity.
Patient Care: Conduct vital signs, blood draws, diagnostic testing, assist providers during exams, provide patient education within scope of practice, and verify patient identity using established protocols.
Cleanliness & Infection Control: Maintain exam rooms, bathrooms, waiting areas, and all clinical spaces to the highest standards of hygiene. Regularly disinfect surfaces, change exam table paper, and ensure all equipment is clean and presentable.
Punctuality & Reliability: Arrive on time, adhere to the work schedule, and remain on-site during assigned hours. Dependability and consistency are essential to clinic operations.
Administrative Support: Schedule appointments, perform data entry, manage reports, and assist with documentation in EMR systems.
Compliance: Follow HIPAA, infection control, and quality assurance protocols at all times.
Professionalism: Maintain a neat, professional appearance and exhibit courtesy and respect toward patients, colleagues, and leadership.
Technology: Utilize EMR systems, Microsoft Office, and other clinic software to support daily operations.
Inventory Management: Maintain exam room supplies, monitor inventory levels, and notify leadership of supply shortages.
Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with providers, leadership, and fellow staff to support efficient clinic operations and exceptional patient care.
Emergency Response: Assist providers during medical emergencies and activate EMS when appropriate.
Other Duties: Perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management to support the overall success and operations of the clinic.
All on-site staff and contractors must be fully vaccinated per CDC guidelines.
