Join the fun in our marketplace as an E-Commerce Coordinator and play a key role in delivering a fast, accurate, and exceptional online shopping experience. This role is instrumental in delivering an exceptional customer experience by ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and outstanding service for all online orders.

The E-Commerce Coordinator will utilize handheld technology to manage online customer orders, oversee efficient order picking, and coordinate store pickups and deliveries. In addition, this individual will provide daily direction and support to E-Commerce clerks.

Responsibilities

1. Select and gather products for online customer orders efficiently, with a strong focus on quality and freshness
2. Initiate and complete the order selection process from receipt through fulfillment
3. Assemble online orders, process coupons and payments, and ensure timely delivery to customers’ vehicles upon pickup
4. Scan and bag items while shopping in-store, adhering to all bagging and handling standards
5. Communicate substitutions or order exceptions to customers at pickup
6. Ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded regarding convenience, product variety, freshness, and cleanliness
7. Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations, food safety standards, and company policies
8. Store products in appropriate temperature-controlled zones
9. Review and follow special instructions included in customer order notes
10. Verify order accuracy and retrieve orders from staging locations for pickup
11. Provide a positive and welcoming customer experience that encourages repeat online shopping
12. Process transactions through the POS system
13. Follow established substitution guidelines for out-of-stock items
14. Maintain cleanliness and organization of staging areas and equipment
15. Report pricing, scanning, inventory location discrepancies, and temperature issues to the E-Commerce Supervisor
16. Adapt to new processes and meet or exceed productivity standards
17. Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

1. Must be at least 18 years of age
2. High School Diploma or equivalent
3. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
4. Previous experience in e-commerce, personal shopping, warehouse operations, stocking, or cashiering preferred
5. Ability to read shelf tags and follow written instructions
6. Basic math skills
7. Strong verbal and written communication skills
8. Open availability, including weekdays and weekends, based on store needs
9. Ability to speak, read, and understand English
