Job Description Summary: The Clinical Manager oversees the delivery of high-quality home health services, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies. This role involves supervising clinical staff, coordinating patient care, and maintaining operational efficiency. The Clinical Manager serves as a resource for clinical decision-making, promotes best practices, and fosters a culture of excellence and patient-centered care. Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Supervision: Direct and support clinical staff, including nurses and therapists, through coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
  • Care Coordination: Ensure timely initiation and delivery of services, monitor patient progress, and facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Quality Assurance: Review clinical documentation for accuracy and compliance; implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain adherence to state, federal, and accreditation standards; prepare for audits and surveys.
  • Staff Development: Organize in-services, training sessions, and competency assessments to promote professional growth.
  • Problem Resolution: Address clinical issues, patient concerns, and operational challenges promptly and effectively.
  • Resource Management: Monitor staffing levels, productivity, and resource utilization to optimize care delivery.
  • Participate in Meetings: Lead case conferences and contribute to organizational planning initiatives
Position Qualifications:
  • Current RN license in the state(s) of practice.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in home health; supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of home health regulations and best practices.
  • Current CPR certification by an organization-approved provider.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Environmental and Working Conditions: Environmental Conditions: May be exposed to extremes of heat and cold in all weather conditions. Working Conditions: May be exposed to infections and contagious diseases. Contact with patients under wide variety of circumstances. May be exposed or occasionally exposed to patient elements. Subject to varying and unpredictable situations. Handles emergency or crisis situations. OSHA exposure category: Category I — Position includes tasks that involve exposure to blood, body fluids, tissues. Required Personal Protective Equipment: as required by working conditions.
