The Oakland Emiliano Zapata Street Academy born out of the Civil Rights and Black Power Movements has partnered with the Oakland Unified School District as a semi-autonomus OUSD school for over 50 years. We provide social justice-centered instruction in an alternative school in Oakland and for Bay Area youth.
